Materials Science of CSU Entering into the Top 1 Thousandth of ESI Global Institutions
According to the updated data released by American Thomson Reuters Technology and Medical Group’s database of “Essential Science Indicators”(ESI) on September 11, 2015, Beijing time, Materials Science of CSU, ranking 73 in the ESI Global Disciplines, entered into the world’s top 1‰ for the first time, being the 1st discipline (field)of CSU.
Besides, it is observed that Engineering disciplines of CSU have also made highly significant progress, whose latest threshold has reached 0.74, and they are hopeful to be the next discipline launching into the world’s top 1‰.
